Wunderhorse (Jacob Slater) is a talented singer-songwriter most known for having fronted short-lived London band The Dead Pretties. His debut single, ‘Teal’, is an introspective track that starts life with the feeling of a delicate ballad before exploding into a chaotic punky conclusion, without ever losing its melodic appeal. It might be Wunderhorse’s first track, but it has the maturity of an artist many years into his career. In a live setting (which will hopefully become normal again soon), we can imagine this song achieving a huge response. -Dan Peeke
